"Has anyone ever told you that you have a beautiful smile?"
"Has anyone ever told you that you have a beautiful smile?"
That's a DM I sent to one of my connections. And his reply was this... 😱
"Why did you send me that? I find it a little weird"~
My reply to Him was this, "Oh Yes... Didn't you find it a little weird AND inappropriate?
You know what... one of my friends received the exact same message from you!
She comes to me and asks me to talk to you because she knows I've connected with you."
He didn't have much else to say after that. Surprise surprise.
LinkedIn is NOT a Dating Site !!
To the men who think it's OK to use this platform as a dating app, and send uncomfortable and/or sleazy DMs or comments to women, you should be ashamed of yourselves.
And, "I was just being nice," won't cut it.
General rule: If it's something you wouldn't say to another male connection, don't say it to your female connection.
Being nice is treating women with the same professional conduct and respect you give to your male counterparts.
Anything less is 'weird' and NOT OK.
I also noticed some FAKE recruiters post FAKE jobs just to collect CV, photo, or other personal details.
Also, this is NOT any Tinder Applications!
