Not because he had a bad CV or shortcoming. So why he was rejected?
After several rounds of Interviews, he knows that the company had an Internal Referral... 😢
It’s fine to offer a fair opportunity for everyone to attend the Interview, but…
Please at least tell the candidate you will also consider the referral as well.
The candidate is so passionate, he has a great expectation and hopes to join your company.
I think NO HOPE is better than FALSE HOPE!
Indeed, the company should consider whether they want to start the process of Interview.
Also, I know some role is intended to have an internal candidate for promotion purpose.
So, why you have to find some outside candidates to compete with him/her?
